Washington DC Temple 3D print model

Description

Here are a few files for my model of the Washington D.C. LDS Temple. I have included the full model as well as separate models for the main body and the individual spires. I found that printing the spires separate from the body was less risky than printing it all together. I was able to slow down the print speed to produce high quality spires. I recommend printing a few individual spires at different scales (100%, 99%, etc.) and test fitting it before printing all the spires in one slower print which allows for more time to cool between layers. I ended up doing 98% scale for the spires which allowed a tight fit with no glue required. That way, if a spire ever breaks, I can pull it out and replace it.

Enjoy! Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.

3D PRINTING SETTINGS Printed in marble PLA with generic PLA settings at 0.12mm layer height. For printing the spires separately, I printed all of them together, slowed the speed to 25mm/s and increased the minimum time between layers to 15s to allow more cooling between layers.
