"The heptagram is used as a symbol in many religious and occult traditions.

Finally, it's a symbol used in the Kabbalistic tradition, and later by Aleister Crowley and the Ordo Templi Orientis, who refer to it as the "star (or seal) of Babalon", goddess of Thelema. "
