Chocolate UFO

Back in the late 90s and early 2000s, there was a confectionary in Germany named “Frufoo Schoko UFO”. Those were bite-sized chocolates with yoghurt filling, with a shape that resembled a flying saucer. However, despite their popularity, they were eventually discontinued, and people have attempted to recreate the UFOs. Even though a lot of the recreations I found on the internet were amazing, I think it’s not the same without the UFO shape. And that’s what I wanted to change.

I based this model on a few low-quality images of the actual product I found on the internet, and I tried to make this replica as faithful as possible. I do hope that it will be enough for those who are specifically looking for that shape, and that it will bring back memories to those who were very fond of the originals.

My idea was that the printed model is cast in food safe silicone, so everyone can make their own chocolates with it.

This set includes:

• The full 3D model of the UFO.
• A positive mould to make silicone casts much easier.

If you lack the skills of making your own chocolate, no problem. There are still some other uses for the model. For example, use the included mould for custom silicone ice cube trays. The individual UFO model is also perfect as a decoration for Halloween. Whatever you have in mind with this model, use it and be creative.

• 0.1 mm is mandatory.
• Use tree supports.
• At least 10% infill.
