3D model description

I wanted a very clean and compact design that held the ultra cheap runout sensor I purchased and guided the filament with a roller.

This design is very compact, and the filament cannot slip out upon retraction. If your spool holder is close to the edge at the top of your printer, you will not need any other filament guide or arm sticking off the side of your printer.

This uses 3 M3 bolts and a single 608 bearing (standard skateboard/roller skate bearing). The bearing can be any 608 such as 608-RS, 608-XX, etc.. The tolerances are very tight and the roller rolls smoothly.

This is designed specifically for the Voxelab Aquila C2, but should would with the X2. If you use a different filament sensor you will need to adjust to placement of the holes.

No supports are needed for any of the parts. You should print two copies of the pulley wheel, one for each side of the bearing.

If you don't have a Metric bolt set, you should get one. They are cheap and you will use a lot of M2, M3, M4 etc, bolts and nuts with your printer and projects.

Here is a nice M2,M3,M4,M5 bolt nut and washer kit on Amazon:
