3D model description

This is a classic bulb style lamp combined with a classic taper shade to create a very elegant lamp. The shade uses ZIRO's "Winter" filament https://amzn.to/3EZiD1b which transitions between white and blue. I also used this on the 4th or July Rocket exhaust, its a great filament for smoke/clouds.

The base is printed in Polymaker's Turquoise Blue https://amzn.to/3Lr1aSO should you want to recreate this exact look. I have no affiliation with these vendors but purchasing through those links helps support my ongoing model work.

This large table lamp is entirely 3D Printed. You need only supply the lamp hardware of your choice. See additional details below for what I used.

I used the following lamp kit however any "bottle kit" without corks should work fine https://amzn.to/48gGcj5 - your purchase of this through the link helps me offer more free models.

For the shade I also used a bulb harp which attaches directly to the lamp bulb. https://amzn.to/3PHJfKd

When it comes to hardware, I rely heavily on Bambu Lab 3D printers. My A1 Mini https://rb.gy/uofj5 is a staple in my office, while my fleet of X1C Carbons https://rb.gy/9r2az ensures rapid and high-quality production. #ComissionsEarned which help support my free model development.

3D printing settings

Despite what you may think, PLA is fine for making lamps. If you're using a bulb that is LED you should have no issues with melting or your works becoming soft. It takes 55c or 130F to really get it soft and most LED bulbs do not get that hot.

.16 Layer height gives a really nice look to the outside.

Tune your printer! If you want the best look make sure your printer is printing circles cleanly. I print these on an X1C which is what gives it such a great finish.
