The bicycle saddle, however, should be equipped with suitable rails for use. Depending on the manufacturer, these rails may vary, so additional adjustments should be anticipated. Furthermore, this saddle is a design model, and its use is at one's own risk. Strength may vary depending on material, manufacturing process, design, and settings.

3D printing settings

The base of the saddle was printed using PETG and placed horizontally on the build plate for optimal strength. When support structures are used, it is advisable to increase the distances in the X, Y, and Z directions to facilitate post-processing. The base is created with a 100% infill.

The padding, made of TPU, can be printed with different infill densities depending on the desired comfort. It is recommended to test smaller sections. Processing and infill settings can vary depending on the Shore hardness of the TPU. I printed the padding with Shore A82 TPU and used three different infill densities: 30%, 12%, and 18%. This allowed me to make the area where the sit bones contact the saddle more comfortable.
