Historical description :
The 37mm Flak 43 was a German anti-aircraft gun used during World War II. It was a further development of the earlier Flak 36, designed to provide improved anti-aircraft capabilities for the German military.

The Flak 43 featured a 37mm caliber gun with a longer barrel and improved ballistics compared to its predecessor. This allowed it to achieve higher muzzle velocities and engage enemy aircraft at greater altitudes with increased accuracy. The gun had a practical rate of fire of around 150 rounds per minute, making it effective against both low-flying and high-altitude aircraft.

The 37mm Flak 43 was employed on various fronts of World War II, serving as a key component of Germany's anti-aircraft defense. While it was gradually replaced by larger caliber and more advanced anti-aircraft guns as the war progressed, the Flak 43 remained a reliable and effective weapon throughout the conflict.
