3D model description

Simple to print, you dont need a multi colour AMS or MMU unit. All you need is black and white filament. This will print in any FDM printer capable of printing 0.08 layer height.

This filament painting is created with Steve Lavitas' brilliant Hueforge software. It creates beautiful colour 3D prints from images. Photos dont do justice to the prints, they have to be seen and felt to be appreciated. The original image was converted to black and white and optimised for Hueforge.

About The Model:

B.G. Sharma's colorful lithograph depicts the fierce and divine Goddess Durga in all her magnificent glory. She is depicted astride a powerful lion, which is tearing apart the formidable demon Mahishasura. This iconic scene is a central theme in Hindu mythology and symbolizes the victory of good over evil.

Goddess Durga herself is a sight to behold. She is radiant and resplendent, with multiple arms that hold a multitude of weapons gifted to her by various other gods and deities. Each of these weapons symbolizes different aspects of her power and her ability to combat evil forces. Her eyes are fierce and determined, reflecting her unwavering resolve to protect the cosmos from the menace of Mahishasura.

The lithograph bursts with vibrant colors, with Durga adorned in rich and elaborate traditional attire, often featuring bright reds, yellows, and blues, which are common in depictions of the goddess. Her divine aura seems to illuminate the entire scene, and the overall composition is dynamic, capturing the intensity of the battle.

3D printing settings

Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.08mm with a base layer of 0.16mm

Filaments Used:
PLA+ Esun Black Transmission Distance: 2.6
PLA+ Esun White Transmission Distance: 10

Swap Instructions:
Start with Black
At layer #5 (0.48mm) swap to White for the rest.

IMPORTANT NOTE: For colour accuracy you will need to print with white filament with a Transmission Distance (TD) of 10. The TD of the black does'nt seem to matter. But dont worry, just use ESUN White and Black. I chose Esun because that brand seems to be universally available across the world. You will have the same result with ANY white filament with a TD of 10. To find the TD of your filament check out:
