LEV OUTRIDGER

Using the fantastic model made by FELIXTHECRAZY (along another Ridgerunner proxy that dissapeared time ago and i dont know who made it), i designed this vehicle mostly for my Squat miners, but i think is suitable for Genestealers Cults too.

I cant assure if is a proper Ridgerunner proxy, because i think this model is smaller, but i added all the weapons and accesories listed in GSC army book for the vehicle in case that someone want to use it in that way. Maybe re-escaling it a bit is enough, but i dont how much, i have never seen a real Ridgerunner model before.

The original model is a single piece, meant to be printed in resin, but my experience printing vehicles in resin is not the best, so i prefer print them on PLA. With that in mind, i separated some pieces of the model to make it suitable for FDM printers, specially small parts that will probably break when you try to remove supports, then the best is print them apart and glue them after. Refer the pics to look where each piece goes

Weapons and accesories are small and detailed, and were designed to be printed in resin. You can try to print them in FDM of course, but they will lost a lot of detail, specially with the mining laser.

About the Spotter, i choose a more "technological" option instead a guy with binoculars. It makes more sense i think, and it saved me a lot of work :P

I included the center hull as one piece and in halves. I printed it as one piece, but I think it's easier and faster to print two pieces. Your choice.

I dont discard make some aditional weapons and accesories in the future.
