3D model description

Here's a gladius with a plain pommel (simplified version of the one linked below).
https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/art/sic-semper-tyrannis-full-size-roman-gladius-sword-with-decorative-pommel-for-c

The blade is a bit on the long side (600mm) but you should be able to leave out one of the middle blade sections if you want it a bit shorter.

I've sliced the model and added pegs to connect the sections. The pieces should be small enough to print on just about any home printer.

3D printing settings

Print all sections vertically for best quality. This is designed to need almost no supports and to have as little overhang as possible.

You'll need to print 10 "Connector Pegs" and 1 of everything else. I would personally print each piece (except connectors) separately. These are tall and skinny so there's potential for print failure if you don't get good bed adhesion or if your printer shakes or moves too fast.

Print the pieces, connect per the map in the attached image, glue together, sand, and paint. Sounds easy but this will be a major project so be warned before attempting.

I personally prefer Overture PLA and print my tests at 220 Degrees
