Extruder upgrade

My printer went from 40mm/s to 70mm7s

Key idea: make the motor more powerful to print faster.

How it works: Now, for every 4 turns of the motor, the crown wheel pushes the thread once, which means the motor has 4 times more power.





Speed increase: this only speeds up the print if the problem was in the extruder, which was limited by the extruder motor force.





Important step: multiply the flow rate by 4 (x4) in the laminator.





Simple assembly: Assembling this upgrade is very easy and fun.





Important option: it is recommended to put a bearing in the part that holds the crown, and if you can, make sure it is lubricated.





Installing the crown: The crown (the toothed part that pushes the thread) is put on by inserting it first with the screws facing in and then pulling them out to fit into the holes. This is nut 3, which may or may not have a bearing. The bearing has to be 4x10x5
