3D model description

Cultivator in 1/8th scale. About 360mm width.

Best be printed in ABS and glued with UHU Hartkunststoff or better Stabilit Express.
I recommend a crumbly, sandy soil without rocks and roots. I tested the cultivator and it is tough enough. The single tine holds about 10kg at the tip when printed in ABS and bonded with UHU Hartplastik.

The tines are plated with lasercut metal sheets, 1mm strength. The file is attached, but it will work without these - you can replace the mounts for the plates by removing 2 bolts.

For assembly of the crumb roller, insert the rods straight and then, if all are clipped in, twist the whole thing until it blocks.

The small grooves on the bottom should align with the centerline of the tines. This is to ease assembly. Glue togehther the frame first. Then add the three treaded rods if you are afraid of structural fauilure. Then add the tine holders. Then align the rest of the parts according to the pictures.

The hollow point in the crumb roller shows to the right side. (see picture Stabwalze-031023a)

BOM is included. The STL of the complete assembly is for orientation only.

There is also a variant with a split mainframe included - for small printbeds with 210mm size.

I added a printable variant of the tine. It should last some time before it is worn out.

3D printing settings

5 Walls, >30% infill, 2mm Bottom and Top, recommended to print ABS, the parts need to be glued together with a strong bond.

210mm x 210mm printbed is sufficient.

I don't recommend suppots, these are hard to remove from the drillholes.
