3D model description

Brough Superior SS100 - SketchUp and OBJ Files (1-5th Scale)

AS Made from 1924 to 1936 (with JAP V-Twin)

Please Note: This is NOT 3D Print Ready. However, if you possess reasonable SketchUp or CAD skills for working with .obj files, this will SAVE YOU MONTHS of design time! Extracting this as separate STL components is a bit of work but part of the fun! (You can export components as STL's from within SketchUp)

When printing makes for a fantastic model or even scratch-building from the provided CAD drawings is possible. An STL file of the complete SS100 is included, but it is not claimed to be print ready (That's a all in one STL). Also a complete frame, swing arm and Cylinder head STL files are included as example of the outcome.

Included are highly detailed .skp (SketchUp 2016 or later) and OBJ files of this iconic motorcycle, featuring ALL details including a Pistons, Crankshaft, Valve gear etc. Work on SKETCHUP 2016 and later! OBJ Files can be imported to various CAD Software's.

I simply do not have the time to convert the completed model to STL files. I've decided to release this for enthusiasts who have the necessary CAD skills, rather than it sitting lonely on my PC. The complete motorcycle is composed of more than 30 separate part groups, each organized into separate groups in the complete drawing, making it easier to isolate and create separate STL files for each part. Depending on the desired level of detail, you can adjust the part count as needed. Can be scaled to your needs.
Files are in 1/5th Scale, can be easily resized in your slicer software. Conversion for 1/8, 1/10, 1/12, 1/16, 1/18, 1/24 etc. scale can be done in the CAD or slicer software.

Some details like adding thickness to some parts etc. maybe required to print as STL. The design is clean and free of major errors, and accurate. For an experienced SketchUp user it will be a fun project as separate parts are already grouped in units. Example Frame, Engine, Pistons, etc. are all separately grouped.

For ADVANCED Users Only! CAD Files need Conversion to STL Files.
