3D model description

This is an updated version of my previous Luggage van based on the Wisbech Tramway Luggage van. I wanted to re-due this model after finding 2D drawings with a scaled ruler. so after I printed it and used a compass to get the closest measurement possible. this is now much more accurate than my original design, which was done off on images online.

If you modeling a tramway, and want a Luggage van or just a small box car, try giving this a shot. I designed the model to take either 11.8mm & 10.5mm dia wheels. both chassis have a version with screw-in hook loop hooks and one without for scale chain or your own coupling (or add a Dovetail pocket using my printed height: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5812791 ) for accuracy, you can also add chains to the buffer beam seen on older rolling stock. on mine, I used small metal thread wire and an old necklace chain to replicate them.

This particular model was inspired by Wilbert Awdry's model of the luggage can and his character, who was only noted in extended RWS material (mainly the Island of Sodor history book). I recommend pairing this model with your Hornby Toby or your Bachmann Toby and Henrietta (as well as any Red Branchline or Museum Coaches and any Custom Victorias you may have.) I also have a Custom Toby you can use that's designed to fit on the Bachmann Chassis for Toby or any other chassis you wish that fits inside (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5948151)

If you wish to make any edits to my design, I have included the Fusion 360 file for this model.

if you make this model, please post a Make on this page or @ me on Twitter so I can see it. and if you redesign my model, please post the Remix of it linking it to this page.

also, please credit me if asked where you got it or how you made it.
