3D model description

This is a model I made of a RAPTAR S. The RAPTAR S is a laser ranging system manufactured by Wilcox.

This unit is designed to mount a flashlight inside or be used as a prop. I am also working on a version that will allow mounting of a scopecam 2. The box is also hollow so can be used as a battery box.

It comes with two lenses a Short one an a longer one and can also fit a flashlight. The flashlight needs to be thinner than 23mm in diameter and you will need to make your own spacers with tape or print some or measure and message me.

It comes with two screw in lens types Ideally you should make some lenses out of see through plastic for them.

The buttons are keyed so that they are easier to glue in place and can be printed in TPU for a more realistic look.

The left side toggle is a through hole so that it can be used as a push button to activate the light.

To mount it to a rail use an m5 nut and bolt. There's a hole on the left side of the unit to out the screw in that is later covered by a plug.

3D printing settings

Most of the parts do not require supports. only parts that do are main body, lens hood and buttons.
