3D model description

This is a 3D printable digital STL file of a 1/1 scale Noisy Cricket prop replica, as seen in the movie Men in Black.

The model is designed in a way which makes painting easy. Every part has its own designated color, and could be spray painted without masking it. All painted parts can then be assembled and glued together.
This model was designed to be printed in resin, and was test printed for it.

Included are two sets of parts - one contains hollow parts that use less material to print, which could also be used to hold electronics, like some LEDs and a small battery. You can print the inner part using clear green resin (or clear resin with a green LED inside) to get a very cool effect. The other set of is of parts that are solid, and could be used if you want to have less prints and don't care about the material it uses. You can mix and match some of the parts from the two sets, it is pretty to see which. Please note the trigger is fixed in place.

Models are for personal use only. Could be used for display or for a cosplay. enjoy making it!

Contact me if you have any questions.

3D printing settings

The model was test printed on a resin printer, 50um layer thickness. The solid version could probably be printed on an FDM printer, but do so at your own discretion.
The size is a little bigger than the movie prop, so it would be more impressive as a display piece on a shelf, but you can print it in 85% of the size if you want a more accurate replica.
