3D model description

Explore deep space and final frontiers with this full 28mm scale scout ship, designed stock-standard for long haul endurance scout missions in your favourite Tabletop RPGs or Wargames.
Includes two manned turrets for defending in rough territory, a full sensor suite package for scanning new systems, a well equipped engineering section, cargo hold, living quarters and a 5-station forward bridge.

The ship is detailed inside and out and a variety of configurations can be used to customise the deck plans
Modular interior – customise the layout however you like using other Starship or compatible tiles
The scout ship has moderately sized parts, with options for large prints to print with less parts
Contains over 80 parts
Largest part is 129Γ—125Γ—97mm (5Γ—5Γ—3.8")
There are some additional margins if parts are rotated, etc.

This ship assembles with the use of a glueless system of clips that snaps the parts together. We use the OpenLOCK system created by and available from Printable Scenery, under license (some clips are included in the download).
Unless something has gone wrong, you should not need glue to assemble the ship at all. Some loose parts will be tighter with a coat or two of paint.
Included in the package are a print list and assembly instructions.

3D printing settings

The Scout Ship Beta specifics:
Length: 73,2 cm
Beam: 25,5 cm
Depth: 18,5 cm
The parts have been designed with FDM printers in mind at 100-200 microns and should be fully printable using PLA, ABS, PETG or PEI plastic, although you will achieve better results with SLA/DLP printers (resin) or higher resolution FDM prints. You may need to rotate objects for optimal printing or add supports, particularly for overhanging areas, such as the top of door frames.

Parts are designed in 28mm scale (1" squares), but can be rescaled easily in your 3D printing software package.
