3D model description

3D-printable, workable tracks for the Israeli Merkava 4M main battle tank.

These tracks were specifically designed with easy, satisfying assembly in mind. To that end, they include an assembly jig and utilize beefy track pins that fit snugly and hold the track links together without the need for glue.

Unsupported individual files are provided, as well as batched files for printing multiples at once (RECOMMENDED - it will make cleanup so much easier).

UPDATED FILES:
- Revised track jig geometry for easier arrangement
- Second batch file of track links with slightly beefier supports if your machine needs them. It can vary by resins being used as well.
- Additional, larger set of track pins. So now you can use 0.65mm or 0.75mm, depending on which fit better for your prints.

3D printing settings

Tracks are scaled to 1/35 to fit the Meng kit.

I've printed successfully using my usual settings on:

Anycubic Mono X 6K (using Anycubic DLP Craftsman resin)
Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K (using Phrozen Aqua-Gray 8K)

Strongly recommend curing before removing parts from their supports. Tracks come off easily and need at most a quick swipe with a sanding stick. Track pins can be removed by simply swiping a finger across the cured print. It's that easy.
