Surprise pumpkin

Here's the surprise pumpkin from which a fashionable skeleton emerges.

This is a model specially designed for Halloween.

All stl files for printing are attached.

The pumpkin can be printed in 1, 2 or 4 pieces depending on the size of your printer.

Once the pumpkin has been assembled (using glue if you're printing it in several pieces) you'll then need to start by inserting the rudder, placing the two gears on either side of the separator (photo step 1).

Then you'll need to fit the 6 blockers (photo step 2).

The next step is to fit the 2 notched rods (photo step 3).

Next, you'll need to glue the drawer to the rod, putting it in place (the caterpillar head is behind it, of course...).

The final step is to fit the pumpkin stem, hat and skull in place, and glue the bats in the eyes.

If you don't have a suitable pot to put your pumpkin in, a stand is available (also printable in 2 pieces).

Small decorative spiders for those who aren't arachnophobic are available in 3 sizes.

Having only an old printer I couldn't do better in terms of printing but I'm sure you'll be able to make this model even prettier.

the objects (pumpkin, mechanism, spiders, bats, etc.) were all designed by me using fusion360, 3Dbuilder and meshmixer.

They've all been checked to ensure that they print easily and without anomalies.

I made all these for my ten-year-old daughter.
