3D model description

The Starship Chimera Pathfinder is a smaller, distinct deep space exploration ship. The Pathfinder is an original, fully 3D-printable spaceship scaled for 28mm play in your favourite Tabletop RPG, Wargame or display. The Pathfinder is detailed inside and out and a variety of configurations can be used to customize the deck plans.
The Pathfinder contains approximately 260 parts.

This product assembles with the use of a glueless system of clips that snaps the parts together. We use the OpenLOCK system created by and available from Printable Scenery, under license (some clips are included in the download).
Unless something has gone wrong, you should not need glue to assemble the ship at all. Some loose parts will be tighter with a coat or two of paint.

Included in the package are a print list and assembly instructions.

3D printing settings

The parts have been designed with FDM printers in mind at 100-200 microns and should be fully printable using PLA, ABS, PETG or PEI plastic, although you will achieve better results with SLA/DLP printers (resin) or higher resolution FDM prints. You may need to rotate objects for optimal printing or add supports, particularly for overhanging areas, such as the top of door frames.
Parts are designed in 28mm scale (1" squares), but can be rescaled easily in your 3D printing software package.
