3D model description

Here's an improved 3D model description for your Cults 3D post:

Introducing the Triple 5015 fan mod setup for the Creality Sprite Extruder! As an owner of an Ender 3 S1 Plus with a 0.8mm nozzle installed, I found that the stock part cooling was insufficient to maintain the printer's speed. To solve this problem, I designed this mod, which features three 5015 fans and enables me to maintain the same speed as I would with a 0.4mm stock-sized nozzle, despite using a larger 0.8mm nozzle.

But that's not all! I've also conducted flow simulations to ensure that the angle of attack of the outlets of the part cooling fan ducts is precise enough to hit just under the tip of the nozzle. This ensures optimal cooling and printing quality.

In addition, I've added holes on the front side of the part cooling fan duct to allow for modularity and expandability. This means that you can add on various accelerometer addons and more in the future, making this mod even more versatile and useful.

And the best part? I plan on continuously improving this mod in the future, with plans to add support for various accelerometer addons. So stay tuned for even more exciting updates!

Notes and Instructions

Orientation:

  • you will need to orient the part cooling fan duct a certain way (see photos) to be able to print a clean / smooth inner wall within the fan ducts.

Electronics

for this mod to work you will need to rewire two 5015 fans in parallel with a micro jst-1.25mm connector at the end

you will also need to rewire a third 5015 blower fan to have a micro jst-1.25mm connector depending on what fan you have.

BL-Touch Position Coordinates

X: -40.75mm
Y: 3.7mm

Hardware

Stock Screws can be used for the bl-touch and backplate
- Heat Block fan duct will need - x2 M3x12mm screws
- Part cooling fan duct will need - x3 M3x6mm screws
