3D model description

Moon lamp with 3.6cm (diameter) hole for a tealight. I designed this using NASA CGI Moon Kit: https://svs.gsfc.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/details.cgi?aid=4720

For this project you will need:
1. Tealight
2. SuperGlue
3. Soldering kit (If you want to change LED to your specific color)
4. High brightness LEDs that are foggy on top. Normal LEDs don't shine as much as it is needed. They need to be foggy on top so the light is equally scattered and not centered on top.
5. Battery CR 2032

Important:

Try to print this without any supports since removing them can be much more difficult. The moon is only a little brittle at the top. As long as it does not fall directly on top part it should stay intact.

The hole is exactly 3.6 cm in diameter for a tealight to be placed inside. Strip the tealight so only LED is visible - no need for flame or cover. Link for tealights: https://jysk.ie/homeware/decoration/candles-and-napkins/led-tealights-morgan-w/timer-pack-6

Once you insert tealight inside, open superglue or any kind of strong glue. Place the glue between tealight and moon hole. Turn the whole moon upside down till glue hardens. Keep glue away from switch or any kind of circuits.

Place battery CR 2032 inside and enjoy!
I made already 16 of them. My friends love them. I don't know why somebody wanted blue one.

3D printing settings

*Infill: 20% minimum
*Speed: 40 mm/s minimum
*Supports (Not really needed)
*Skirts/Rafts/Brims are not needed. If your bed levelling is not great you can use a raft to fix it a bit. If adhesion is not great use a brim.
