3D model description

I designed this sculpture as a part of art exibition for a local museum. Its made out of sections, and you can make it as long as you want.

This is 5th itteration of the design, i wanted to make sure that all parts are fitting nicely and that there is minimal cleanup (there is no support material)

With this file i have included exploded view with each part explanation. Assembly is pretty straightfoward, you will need 3x M4 threaded rods (as long as you want sculpture to be long) and 6mm shaft (i used 6mm aluminium tube, again, as long as you want sculpture to be). Everything else is 3d printed. Keep in mind that its multiple mechanical parts that are fitting together, so you may have to do some filing of the holes if your printer is not set up properly. Tolerances are very well set in the model, so most likely you will not need to file anything.

In the downloaded file are included all STL file, some photos from the assembly and exploded view with all parts explained one-by-one. You will have easy time understanding how it works and how it need to be assembled

3D printing settings

Everything is printed flat and without support. I used 0.4mm nozzle.
