Dewalt Planer Thicknesser - Ryobi Shopvac Adaptor

Modelled for the Dewalt Planner (DW735) and the Ryobi 6 Gallon Shopvac vacuum, this Shopvac adaptor is made to fit snuggly on both the Planner and the Shopvac to ensure maximim suction to the parts. Modelled, printed, and put to the test, this 3D printed adaptor grabs all the excess material your Planner puts out through it's built-in exhaust valve.

To ensure as much material is captured, the interior of the adaptor chamfers in towards the Shopvac tube to help create the proper airflow to the center of the tube and not have any excess material come piling out as you remove the tube from the adaptor.

Naturally our weather conditions aren't these bad at all, but take into consideration how close these are to exposed sun, heat from the machines, workshop temperate, left in toolboxes in heat, all these conditions could lead to deforming.
