3D model description

Do you, like me, use the RA2 Rotary with the 8 included risers but also want to use your xTool Honeycomb for regular engraving and don't you want to spend too much time with assembly and disassembly of your entire setup? Then this might be something for you. The included RA2 risers lift your D1 or D1 Pro up for 90mm (2 x 45mm) and that's essential to operate your RA2 but if you want to do some regular wood engraving again you need to break everything down again. Not anymore, because these nifty tools help you centre your Honeycomb and rises it up 80mm (leaving you plenty of height for engraving anything you like and helps the top of your laser not to rub against your enclosure if you use one) and the next time you want to change projects you only have to either remove or put back your Honeycomb. That's all!

The file includes 4 corner risers, 2 side support risers and a centre support cube. Print more side supports or centre cubes if required.
If you want some more airflow beneath your honeycomb and leave your steel plate flat on the desk/bench, you need to keep the centre support cube out of the way when cutting because it might get damaged otherwise!.

The .ZIP file includes center jigs & risers for the following honeycomb sizes:
- 950x460mm
- 950x500mm
- 956x456mm
- 1000x500mm
- Dual 500x500mm

Instructions/notes:
Suitable for: xTool D1 and/or D1 PRO. Sizes are outer side frame measurements without the rubber bumpers.

Filament: any sturdy filament (PLA preferred)
Infill: 15% or higher
Layer height: 0.2mm
Nozzle: 0.4mm
Supports: No.
Raft: if needed.
Brim: if needed.
