3D model description

This shelf is printed in parts because its size is too big for a medium size printer. Each piece has sockets and recesses that allow it to fit with the following pieces, it is still recommended to add glue before joining the pieces together to improve the hold.

The back of the shelf can be made by cutting out a piece of cardboard on which we trace the outline of the assembled shelf.

The shelf has enough depth to stand up well, however if you are looking to give it even more stability and prevent it from falling backwards you can use the pieces "shelf part 2 with leg hole" and "shelf part 2 back legs", with these pieces the shelf acquires even more stability.

3D printing settings

As these parts are large, it is recommended to print with a high layer height, such as 0.32 mm for 0.4 mm nozzle or 0.48 mm for 0.6 mm nozzle, in order to reduce printing times.

As for the pieces of the letter box the most important recommendation is to look for a line width that allows to fill as much as possible the thinnest areas of each model, in order to give it more resistance. For the box I recommend to see the line width from 0.4 to 0.44 mm and for the lid I recommend a line width around 0.36 mm.
