Rc car carrier trailer 1/10 motorized

Hello to all makers, and especially to lovers of fine mechanical engineering.

I've been looking for some time for a 1/10 RC multi-purpose car trailer to carry drifters, but also buggies or small crawlers.

As I couldn't find anything to my liking on the market, I decided to build this double-axle tipping trailer to go just about anywhere, while also allowing me to lower cars with low chassis.

The platform can accommodate vehicles 220mm wide by 530mm long.

The trailer is equipped with a 17g servo, lighting and a functional jockey wheel.

Finally, for sturdiness, the prints are provided with holes to integrate M3 threaded rods that stiffen the whole.

For the realization, plan:

• 4 x 72 mm wheels (type Wpl C24 or compatible)

• 4x 1m M3 threaded rod

• 10 M3 stop nuts and washers (wheel mounting)

• 6 bearings 4x8x3 mm

• 1 brass tube OD 4mm 220mm (central axle)

• 1 aluminum tube ext. diameter 6mm 200mm (platform pivot)

• 1m alu rod Diam ext 4 mm ( barriers)

• 1 servo 17g (mini)

• 8 yellow 3mm leds + 4 red 3mm leds + 2 orange flashing leds + resistors according to assembly + cables.

• ball joint for drawbar.

• to reduce servo speed, you can install a variable speed drive to give a more realistic effect to your creation.
