3D model description

I designed this instrument inspired on the mountain dulcimer but the tuning is GCG. It's more european like the french epinette. It's very easy to print. You are going to need epoxy to assemble the pieces together. You can also use hot glue. You need a 0.75 mm (or 0.3 in) metal pipe to assemble the instrument and 2 M6 bolts. I designed everything, except for the tuners. I used the ones provided on printables. The size for the tuners I used is 1.11 for the case and the cap. And for the driver and the gear I used 1.113 scale. That way they fit perfect with PETG. You can also use regular tuners. The string I used are: for the top 0.36w, for the middle 0.29w and the bottom strings are 0.41 and 0.34. All nylon. It prints with no supports. Enjoy.

3D printing settings

Settings for PETG. 1 mm nozzle size. 0.1 mm layer height. Shell thickness 3 mm. Top/bottom thickness 4 mm. Infill 30%. Print speed 7 mm/s. Temperature 246 Β°C. Bed temperature 70 Β°C. No supports. https://youtube.com/shorts/_CVn5moWZ7E?feature=share
