Take the lift to seventh heaven with this mesmerizing mechanism. Soon you’ll know how no height is unreachable thanks to this clever design.

All STL files and fully detailed documentation are included in the download. This mechanism contains moving parts and is fully interactive. All parts are printable via the STL files with the exception of the standard M4x8mm screws that will need to be purchased separately (online or at your local hardware store) for assembly. In addition, we are providing educators with a set of questions about this mechanism to quiz your students and help them trigger their curiosity. Enjoy!


Hi, I’m Brian, a French-American mechanical engineer and designer.

Throughout my career, I have held many engineering positions that have involved 3D Design and Printing; however, I have always done my best work personally, and have created hundreds of designs at home. Most recently, I decided to make my passion my everyday reality and created my company, 3D Design Space.

I have been working to create models that exhibit elementary mechanisms that exist all around us, to teach people about these mechanisms and how they work. My goal has always been to educate people (especially the youngest generation) on the benefits and excitement that can come from mechanical engineering and 3D Printing. Today my goal is achieved through 3D Design Space and I hope you will enjoy what I have been working on for you.

On a personal level, I am a father to an amazing one year old boy, a loving husband, and a dog dad to two beautiful dogs. I live in the South of France and enjoy traveling, 3D printing, electronics and robotics.
