Prepare the Wick:

Cut the wick to the desired length, making it slightly longer than the height of your mold.
Use a small amount of heat-resistant adhesive to attach the wick to the bottom center of the mold.
Melt the Wax:

Use a double boiler or a microwave-safe container to melt the candle wax. If using a microwave, heat in short increments, stirring between each cycle until fully melted.
Use a thermometer to monitor the wax temperature. Different waxes have different melting points, so follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Add Color and Fragrance (Optional):

If you want to add color and fragrance to your candle, do so when the wax is fully melted. Use candle dye and fragrance oils in the desired quantities.
Pour the First Layer:

Pour a small amount of melted wax into the mold, covering the bottom.
Place your template inside the mold and hold it in place, ensuring it's centered. You can use small weights or tape to secure it.
Allow the wax to cool and harden. This will create the first layer of your candle.
Remove the Template:

Gently remove the template from the mold, being careful not to disturb the wax around it.
Pour the Remaining Wax:

Reheat the remaining wax and pour it into the mold, filling it to the desired height.
Allow the candle to cool and harden completely.
Trim the Wick:

Once the candle has fully cooled and solidified, trim the wick to the desired length, leaving about 1/4 inch above the candle's surface.
Unmold the Candle:

Carefully remove the candle from the mold. If you used a mold release spray, it should make this step easier.
Enjoy Your Candle:

Your mold candle with a template is now ready to use. Light it, and enjoy the unique design you've created.
