3D model description

The "Garnet Rod" is the one and the only weapon that Sailor Pluto uses in battle.

Is the version featured in the 90s anime.

3D printing settings

The Staff is about 1800 mm long and it has 10.35mm holes to be able to place 10mm rodsand 4.25 mm holes to be able to place 4mm rods (wood or aluminum) as a skeleton.

Easy to assemble , all the parts are cut in such a way that they can be printed by an Ender 3 (20x20x30) and it also includes two screw-on pieces to assemble the boom so that it is splittable for easier transport. ( It is also possible to assemble in a single object.)

I tried to slice so no supports are needed, but the staff will need small suports on the polearm and the part 1.

The Staff is divisible, it has two screw-on parts. (Part 5 C and Part 6 C). It is also possible to make the Staff non-divisible. If you don't want the detachable staff, just use normal parts 5 and 6 (instead of part 5 C and part 6 C)

It has 10.30mm holea in the handle to be able to place 10mm rods and 4.20mm holea in the handle to be able to place 4mm rods as a skeleton. ( you can buy theme on amazon easily )

I recommend aluminum. With aluminum rods it is lighter and more resistant, but the final decision is up to you.

I usually print my parts with the following definitions:

Quality: 2.8
Walls: 3
Infill: 10% or 15%
Pattern: Zig Zag

-The Conection 2, I advise you to place 4.

-The Conection 1, I advise you to place 4 walls and 70% to 80% of infill, since it is the connection part that connects the various pieces. You can change the print settings, but I don't know to what extent the screw-on margins will still allow for screw-on.

-From my own experience, I give a margin of 0.30 mm for the rods (wood or aluminum.), so that the rod can be placed and glued without the risk of them getting stuck inside the piece.

-I provide the full Glave not sliced and without holes, in case you want to slice in another way.

  • I recently discovered a new feature in the program I use, so all parts were exported in high definition.

-I provide the full Staff not sliced and without holes, in case you want to slice in another way.
