3D model description

Basically, this is the carriage plate for the Tronxy X5S, that lets you mount all the fangs and fang remixes from the CR10 version of the fang assembly that i designed last year. If you have downloaded this thing, you will also need a fang (of your chosing) and the 40mm fan duct, both of which you can find on the CR10 page following this link:
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2763931
There are different options.
A 4010 (stock fan) fang.
A 5015 fan fang.
A dual 4010 fan fang.
A dual 5015 fan fang.
A 40mm axial fan fang.
...

*** !!!You need to flip your X-endswitch upside down!!! *** (see pictures).

Best to print the parts actually touching the (coldend of the) hotend, in ABS. Though i used a 100% PLA assembly for months on my CR10 without much issues. You can print the actual fang in PLA.

NOTICE: i had to shorten my heatbreak on the X5S, because the spacing was off compared to the CR10. My heaterblock and nozzle was hanging much lower hence the fang airflow would not be pointing at the tip of the nozzle. It's best to check if this also the case for you. Going by memory, the gap between heaterblock and coldend (heatsink) should be +/- 4mm.

I have uploaded an optional dual 4010mm fang (this is not stock, since you need an aditional 4010 fan). You can find one in the remix section, and another one on the CR10 assembly page. (see link above). The one in the remix section only fits the Tronxy, the one on the CR10 page fits both CR10 and X5S series. The latter is also the newest design, and probably the best.

UPDATE: i have added an alternative version of the carriage plate, for those that have their belt setup the other way around (see comments) so that the carriage plate would interfere with the belt.
