3D model description

This is the silhouette painted on Simba's tree in the original Lion King movie....

It consists of 6 pieces:

  • Silhouette of Simba: To print without supports face up and 130% in the printing program in my case Creality slicer, where a strip of 51 RGB LEDs of 10mm wide divided into 3 parts is introduced, a strip with 39 Blue Led (Feeding 12v with positive and B with negative) from the tail to the forehead, we splice with 0.5mm cable with 3 Led that we will give the color Pink (Feeding 12v with positive R and B with negative) in the forehead and 9 Blue Led to the end. All the led can be spliced in series.

  • Simba Edge: To print without supports face up and 130% in the printing program in my case Creality Slicer, It is the cover of the slot where the LEDs are inserted, and is assembled perfectly with just a few points with the tin soldering iron,

  • Battery Box: To print without supports is the cover where we will fit the battery holder 23A 12V batteries, the arduino switch and the positive and negative junctions of the battery next to the LEDs.

-Battery Cover: For printing without supports is the battery cover with some guides.

  • Cable cover: For printing without supports, it is the cover to cover the hole where we make the connection.

-Hinge: For printing without supports, it fits into the box and has two positions closed and open and is responsible for holding the LED silhouette as a frame.

NEEDED:

1- Printed parts.

2- RGB LED strip 10mm wide x 51 Leds.

3- 1 12V battery holder.

4- Arduino switch.

5- Cable and soldering iron.

3D printing settings

Everything can be printed without supports and the first layer at a slower speed so that it does not peel off. The silhouette of Simba and the edge of the silhouette must be scaled to 130% in the printing program, all others to size. It can be glued but I liked the result of giving points with the soldering iron.
