3D model description

Christmas snowflakes tree puzzle

Hello, it is our pleasure to send you a 3Dmodel that combines decoration and puzzle for the Christmas.

Your children will probably play with this model all day to solve the puzzle, their friends may compete to see who can solve the puzzle the fastest.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas!

The decorative model is designed to include 1 pine tree assembled from 05 snowflakes, 01 star, 02 candles and 01 fence. All parts are designed to be 3D printed without the need for supports, easy to print and assemble without glue. You can further decorate by inserting stringing light into the tube hole under the candle holder/tree base. The pine tree model can be used independently as a pen holder by attaching 5 snowflakes together separately.

The puzzle of this model uses 02 candles and pine tree trunks as poles containing 5 floors of a "tower", which are 5 snowflakes.

The puzzle: The goal of the puzzle is to move the whole tree of snowflakes (5 pieces of snowflakes) from one pole to another (from pine tree trunks to one of 2 candles).

There are basically just two rules:

  • You may only move ONE snowflake at a time, the topmost of any pole you decide to act on, from one pole to another.
  • You may ONLY place a smaller snowflake on a bigger one, NEVER the opposite.

A more detailed description is included in the PDF file attached to the STL files, which also includes an introduction to the Tower of Hanoi puzzle.
