DIY DIY Chalkboard / Blackboard - Frame

**Hello!

Today I set out to create this framework for crafting my own blackboards / chalkboards, whether the background is cardboard or even in FDM wood.

The main idea is to have the most flexibility when it comes to needing larger dimensions in a chalkboard, so the pieces have specific measures that allow you to extend the desired size or shape, it all depends on the need of your project.

In my case I have used double layer corrugated cardboard to which I have cut some small spaces to fit the frame and I have used the following measures.

• 60 cm wide

• 45 cm** high

The thickness of the cardboard is approximately **4 - 5 mm*.

For these measurements I used these pieces from the design:

• 4 top corners.

• 6 top edges/sides/sidewalls

• 4 bottom corners

• 6 bottom edges / sides / sides

Basic parameters:

• Layer height:** 0.2 mm

• Perimeters:** 2

• Filling (%):** 15% Filling (%): 15

• Filling pattern:** Giroid

Support parameters:

Check out the pictures, there I show where I suggest the brackets should go (with blue color).

• Z-distance:** .15 mm

• XY distance:** 80%

• Pattern distance: 3 mm

• Interface distance:** .2 mm

Avoid placing brackets inside the connections No problem, but not convenient to clean.
