Compact Streamer (Airsoft Mock Silencer)

A simple airsoft prop that is meant to be an approximate replica of the Finnish manufacturer Silent Steel’s Compact Streamer model. Length of the suppressor is about 150 mm and the diameter is 42 mm.

There are no threads; the suppressor is intended to simply friction fit over a standard M4 barrel (15.7” including the bird cage muzzle device) and to cover the barrel so as to give an impression of a suppressor being mounted on a 10.5” barrel. The back end of the suppressor has a small groove for a rubber o-ring that can be placed around the barrel to prevent any wobble.

Please note that the prop is aesthetic only and nonfunctional, so it will not effectively dampen the sound of the airsoft gun.

Caution: Under NO circumstances should this ever be fitted over the barrel of a real firearm! It will shatter upon firing and risk injury to the shooter and anyone in close vicinity as well as risk malfunction of the firearm with potentially life-threatening consequences!

Suggested printing materials: PCTG, ASA, ABS, PETG, high impact resin.

Includes a full model for resin printing and a split model with separate cap for FDM printing. The split model includes holes for pinning the two parts todetger and should print fine without supports, but use of brim is strongly recommended. I recommend using at least 4 walls, infill won't matter much, I printed mine with 25 %, but even less will do.

Will use aroung 65 g of filament (50-100 g depending on infill/wall count). Maximum deimensions of the full model 151x42x42mm.
