3D model description

This item allows one to find the center of the ends of cylinders or the surfaces of disks, from about 3/8"-2 1/2" (theoretically, it could handle larger circles, but with less precision). Just draw or inscribe several lines on the circular face, and the center is at their crossing. Be sure to use more than two, because the width of your marking tool will add to the deviation from center.

There are also holes for tracing circles of sizes 1.5", 1", 0.75", 0.625", 0.375", and 0.25" (give or take a few hundredths of an inch for printing tolerances). The angle between the central edge and the thin edge is 30 degrees, and the angle between the central edge and the one guide edge is 45 degrees.

The ends of the lip flare out to allow this tool to draw lines perpendicular to a surface, up to about 3.5" from the reference edge.

Material used is about 13 g, and it prints pretty fast. It may help to lightly sand the edges after printing, or clean up the circles with a knife to remove the z-seam.

15% gyroid infill
The thinner the walls, the better. 0.5 mm is the maximum thickness I would use.
Place flat on the built plate
Be sure your extruder is calibrated and bed is leveled--overextrusion on the central edge will detract from precision.
Also, let the print cool on the bulid plate so it won't warp.
