3D model description

This paper towel holder was designed to mount under hanging kitchen cabinets to save valuable counter space. The size and shape of the mounts were designed to fit under a cabinet with an approximate under-cabinet opening depth of about 10.75" (273mm). Mounting hole diameters are 4mm.

The center rod is printed in 2 parts due to 3D printer size restrictions and is assembled with a snug threaded connection between each rod half to prevent accidental disassembly.

The paper towel is held in place by holding it between the hangers, sliding the assembled rod through the hangers and paper towel, and securing the rod to the hangers with the smooth 3D-printed threads.

Hangers were designed to fit most standard paper towel diameters (About 130mm diameter clearance) allowing paper towels to hand below the cabinet walls without getting caught on cabinet walls.

This design does require minimal support on the 2 hangers (See pictures for recommended support locations and print orientations). Support anomalies should be hidden under cabinet once fully assembled. No supports needed on mounting holes.

My total print time for all objects was about 5 hours when printed separately using 0.16mm layer heights.

The assembled paper towel hangers' approximate size is: 305mm x 125mm x 85mm.

Note: Hangers can be mounted in other locations and orientations. Check mounting location sizes before downloading.
