3D model description

A remodel of the case for the CASIO F91-W watch, modified to improve printing quality, allowing buttons to be inserted mid print and for it to be printed in place with a strap.
The backplate, movement and front plastic are still needed from the original watch. 4 screws are needed, but dont have to be the originals, any M2 screws should work.

Versions:

Watch case with pin slots (to use with original pins with any 18mm
strap)

Strap with pin slot (to use with original case and any watch with
18mm slots)

Case and strap print in place versions (gets printed all at once)

Important Files:
-"Casio F91-W printing.stl": has the pin slots

-"Built.blend": contains the different parts connected to change the dimensions of the strap, export and print with ease.

-Other files called section or strap are just the separate watch parts, in case needed
Also works for off brand versions.

3D printing settings

tested in 0.12 mm layer height, initial layer can be thicker.
Supports needed for the watch case, set to Touching buildPlate only.
the print must be stopped right before the button holes are closed, which when printing at 0.12 mm layer height should be right around layer 38.
No supports are needed for the pin slot version of the strap, but a brim is highly recommended due to the small parts being prone to warping.

Print in place case + strap:

to pick the size of the watch strap, first your wrist circumference must be measured, and the needed number of links must be added. in the Built.blend file there are 2 main parts: the watches to the sides, the left one being the no pinslot version, and a rectangle in the center.
the rectangle is made of a single cube with an array modifier, the cube is exactly 10mm x 10mm, so every instance of the array adds 1 cm to the rectangle, that can be used to measure how many new links have to be added.
the tips of the sides of the strap need to be moved 7 units per link added.
After changing the size of the strap, it can be exported and printed, needing supports touching buildplate only, and a brim.
