Police Box Tree Topper

Just 'Who' would park a police box on top of a Christmas tree?

Decorative version of a well-known, police box-shaped time machine just-in-time for Christmas.

Place on top of the tree with some fairy lights shoved inside to glow through the windows.

After you have printed the police box itself, there are various options for the windows and signs.

For the windows:
1) unglazed - let the fairy lights shine through

2) 4 individually glazed panels – quite fiddly to install (suggest coffee stirrer, blu-tak and slow glue like UHU POR)

3) single cube insert – just slide inside and tack glue when positioned behind the openings

Then the two signs:

1) top "police box" which can either be printed initially in black with a colour change to white for the words. Alternatively, there is a 2/3 colour variant for those with multimaterial systems such as bambu AMS.

2) second sign goes to the left of front door handle. I recommend printing this as two colours with a swap at 1 mm. Alternatively, print text out in the paper, laminate and stick to the front.

Optional:
Print the bulb_holder in white and wrap with low cost LEDs, e.g.

Secure the LEDs to the holder with clear tape, apply superglue to the square flat and and align with the inside top centre of the police box.

You can print the main box at 0.28 mm layers without support if you're bridging settings are calibrated.

Print all other parts at 0.2 mm.
