3D model description

The Daleks from the 1965 "Dr. Who and the Daleks" movie really stuck in my imagination as a kid as they were in glorious technicolour. I've modelled them for use in wargames with a stylised design that keeps the iconic enlarged fender from the two movies, and is pleasing to paint with chunky sharp details. EXTERMINATE!

3D printing settings

After loads of revisions and variations and tinkering, I've settled on a three-piece structure of helmet with a vertically-split skirt. This lets you angle the print so you can keep the supports away from the dalek-bobbles and churn out a painted army of the buggers!
