3D Printed Football

MUST READ : There are 2 main panels on a typical football, the hexagon and the pentagon. 20 of the hexagons and 12 of the pentagons.
I initially made this model some years ago but now I have taken up 3D printing, I was intrigued to test it as part of my learning.
The inner STL files have been inwardly extruded and bevelled at pretty much the right angle to create the correct mating surfaces so when you fit all 32 pieces together, you can glue them and voila, you have a football shape.
I have now printed this and while the exterior decoration is not finished on mine, the inner of the ball structure is done and to be fair, given I used fingers and a hot glue gun, it has gone together very well.
I have included, if you wish to use them, the external decoration hexagon and pentagon surrounds. If you struggle to mate the surfaces of the inner pieces, these will help clean up the finish and give a nice surround to any detail you wish to add inside these surrounds. Of course, you can use stickers or decals, stencils or indeed model something to add to each panel.
I have added some photographs from each stage, test fits and so on. I will add the finished ball in the next couple of days.
