3D model description

This is a simple 3D print model kit. The design is inspired by a twin-engine, medium-wing monoplane medium bomber aircraft, developed by the US aeronautical company North American Aviation in the late 1930s and used mainly by the United States Army Air Forces (USAAF) during World War II and considered as one of the best medium bombers of the conflict. The official designation incorporated the name "Mitchell" in honor of General Billy Mitchell, one of the first major advocates of using air power for military purposes.

The shape is simplified and adapted for fast and efficient printing, still very similar to the original aircraft.

Assembling the kit requires glue and some tweaking regarding the holes and couplings.

The corresponding approximate scale is approximately 1/48

3D printing settings

The presented model is made of PLA.
Nozzle diameter: 0.4mm
Layer height: 0.12mm.

All parts were printed with supports except the tires, propellers and engine base
As for the filling, print:
- 100% PT1 fuselage,
-40% PT2 fuselage
-10% PT3 fuselage,
while for the wings at 10%, this is to ensure that the plane is balanced once printed.
