Decorative feeding screen for birds (no support)

In winter, it is often very difficult for our little feathered friends to find food. For this reason, small feeding stations should be set up in the garden (at a sufficient height to protect them from predators).

However, this does not mean that blue tits, blackbirds and other small songbirds do not also value a decorative feeding station ;)

With this decorative feeding umbrella, you not only beautify the bushes that are bare in winter, but also do something good and protect the food for your little friends from snow and rain.

The feeding umbrella is available in two different versions:

Version A: as an attachment/holder for up to 3 fat balls

Version B: as a feeding station with bowl for bird food such as sunflower seeds.

The screen is identical for both versions. However, several textured designs and a "normal" version are included.

Depending on which feeding station you choose, the hook or the bowl still needs to be printed.

If you don't have a textured print bed (like me), you can print the cover for the support surface during printing and use it to conceal the smooth surface.

The cover can be fixed to the screen with 3 drops of superglue (but it doesn't have to be)

The shade has a diameter of approx. 16 cm and is 76 mm high.

It should be hung from trees and branches that cats, for example, cannot reach.

The parts in the photo are printed from PETG.

First layer: 0.3mm

Layer height: <=0.28mm

Infill: 10%

Walls: 3

Nozzle: 0.4mm

Brim recommended for screen, screen top and hook: 7mm

Tip: The upper part of the canopy and the center, as well as the hook should be printed slowly due to the height. max.45mm/s
