3D model description

This is my first custom insert, let me know if you have suggestions for next time.

There are better inserts out there, but I really hate lid lift. There’s no way to set the tiles vertical and not have lid lift, so I tried my hand at my first custom insert. Having said that, I definitely referenced other people’s ideas to save time:

ARTIFACT - I used JuiceNeutron’s Artifact model here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6230208 (I did NOT include this STL, please navigate here if you’d like to print one out)

I used some measurements from Cyba’s Insert here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6005116 (I used my own models though, just used this for reference)

And I started with the card holders and triangle token measurements from Goosepaloose’s insert here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5956561 (I tweaked the card holders)

SLEEVE QUESTION: “Can you tweak the card holders to allow for sleeved cards?” Unfortunately no. Someone smarter than me could probably figure out how, but I struggled to keep space for sleeved cards while not having lid lift.

TILE HOLDER QUESTION: “Why are only some of the tiles in the tile holder?” Similar to the previous answer, I wanted the tiles laying down to avoid lid lift, and the clearance to have all three stacks of tiles width-wise is very tight. My original design scraped the sides of the box. So now most of the base tiles are outside, and the rest are inside labeled with the double diamond.

TILE HOLDER ORGANIZATION:
Loose stack: The majority of the base tiles.
Bombs: The smaller explode tiles
Skull: The “Temple Mode: Legion” tiles from the Typhaon Wakes expansion.
Two Diamonds: The rest of the base tiles stack.
Book and Wand: Special tiles for the Aristocrat (base) and Magician (Arima’s) characters.
Ark Symbol: The “Temple Mode: Intrepid” tiles from the Arima’s Light expansion.

EXPANSION GUARDIAN SLOT:
You’ll notice on the bottom tray in the pictures, I didn’t leave enough room for the fifth expansion guardian. I wasn’t about to reprint the whole thing and luckily there was space by the ark and silver guardian. I have since edited the file to have enough space for all five so you will not have this problem.

LID LIFT QUESTION:
I’ve included a picture of exactly where I place the cloth bag to not get lid lift. If this doesn’t work for you, you could try putting it at the top of the box, putting the instruction manuals over top leaving a gap where the drawstring is, and covering with the boards.

FIGURINE/ATTACK OF THE CRAB QUESTION:
I didn't get these so you're on you're own.
