3D model description

This is a rear spoiler for a Mazda MX5 / Miata NB & NBFL (Mk2 & Mk2.5) from '98 - '05 that I designed with the "Ducktail" style in mind.

The spoiler is split into 5 separated parts with a maximum size of 205mm so it can be printed in most of the 3d printers available. This was designed from a high quality 3D scan of the car.

Currently I'm attaching it with double sided tape to the car. In the future, might think of some better fixation to the car. I advise to print the final piece in ASA or if you use PLA coat it with UV resistant epoxy + paint.

Ideas for next iterations:
- Make a hole through the 5 parts to be able to insert a cheap 10mm/15mm carbon/steel rod to make the spoiler stronger
- Nicer attachment between the 5 different parts
- Think of a way to attach the spoiler to the car trunk without needing to make wholes

Disclaimer: This is a WIP (Work In Progress), hence the lower price. During development I will keep updating the spoiler, and what you will be able to download the newest version and the final version anytime it's uploaded. The benefit by supporting this design early is that you're getting access to the final design for a cheaper price than what I will make it available once finished. As you can see in the pictures, fitment is great and by WIP I mean that I will still improve the ideas that are shared above.
