3D model description

Anyone who has built a T-54, T-55 or T-62 model will have faced the challenge of the headlight guard. Kit parts are awkward to clean up, incorrect in shape and/or have joins in inconvenient locations while scratchbuilding entails bending it to shape consistently and then keeping everything square while the cross-bars are added. The whole process is pretty tedious so this part makes the task considerably easier and quicker.
Drawn at full size but can be rescaled to 1/35 (2.86%), 1/48 (2.08%) or even 1/72 (1.39%) or 1/76 (1.32%). Thanks to Marcus Nicolls for suggesting this solution and to Rod Woodhouse for confirming the diameter.

3D printing settings

Print tilted in two directions so that none of the parts is parallel to the build plate. Use light supports.
