3D model description

Object 781 SP7 is a prototype Soviet heavy IFV based on the chassis of the T-72 tank developed in the late 1980s by GSKB-2 Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant. Two versions of the heavy IFV were developed - the Object 781 SP7 and Object 781 SP8.

Two independent combat modules were mounted on the roof of the hull. Each module had a 2A72 30-mm automatic cannon and a PKT machine gun. PKT machine gun. The right combat module was additionally equipped with ATGM launchers. Behind the two main modules is a small module with a PKT machine gun for firing to the rear of the vehicle. In addition to the modules, the hull of the vehicle was equipped with two course autonomous 40 mm automatic grenade launchers. Later, at the request of the military, one of the automatic grenade launchers was replaced by a remote-controlled turret with independent guidance and a PKT machine gun. This variant aroused the greatest interest of the military and it was planned to design a serial vehicle on its basis.

With the collapse of the Soviet Union, all work on the "Object 781" was stopped. Later on, the experience gained in design was used in the development of BMPT (Object 199).

Simplified models for use in 15mm wargames. Two variants of the tank are presented: the Object 781 Sp7-1 and the Object 781 Sp7-2. The cannon mounts of the model are movable.

Model is designed for printing on SLA printers.
