3D model description

This is a design for a feeder trough for use in a hen house. You buy a section of 3-inch PVC or ABS pipe and slot it into the feeder (make to cap the pipe). Then you cut a hole in your hardware cloth big enough to fit the feeder trough into and then screw the entire unit to the side of your hen house. As the chickens eat their food, more food falls from the storage pipe. The food is kept elevated slightly to mitigate the bugs, and the feeder area has a lip across the top edge to prevent any rainwater from tracing down and getting to the food. When it's time to refill, you pop the cap and refill the pipe with food.

3D printing settings

This unit should print flat on its back with the pipe and feeder trough pointing up. You will need internal supports and I recommend printing in a robust plastic for outdoor support like PETG. The device should be printed with 50% infill and at least 5 walls.
