3D model description

I got a balancer shaft from Kavan for small money but haven't had a proper stand for it. Because I also had some small magnets laying around, I designed this propeller balancer and wanted to share it with you.

All you need for this propeller balancer is some metal balancing shaft of 70 mm in length and with a tip less than 3 mm.
Furthermore, you need two cylindrical magnets of 8 mm in diameter and 3 mm in height.

Print this balancer stand and the inserts as it suits your printer best, put the magnets in and fixate them with the inserts. If stringing occurred, cut it off and clean the stand thoroughly to avoid the balancer shaft of being somehow influenced or hindered from rotating freely.

If you already have all the necessary party, great!
If you need them, here is a bill of material for you (affiliate links ahead!). Use it for orientation, or if you want to support me, please consider a purchase.

  1. Kavan 0212 Balancer Shaft (eBay DE https://goo.gl/2FBHra )
  2. 8 mm x 3 mm magnets (Amazon DE http://amzn.to/2hJD9sg - Amazon UK http://amzn.to/2j2WBnl )

I have also uploaded the Fusion 360 file so you can make adjustments to this design as desired. However, please respect the licensing!

Your opinion on this design and suggestions to make it even better is appreciated
